Join us for one night of true glitz when Hollywood based award winning British actor and singer Richard Shelton arrives in Liverpool to don Sinatra’s tuxedo and pulls out some of the greatest of Sinatra’s songs.
Supported by the fabulous Denmark Street Big Band based in London’s West End.
Richard Shelton (Emmerdale, Rat Pack Confidential) has performed on the greatest international stages including The Coliseum in London and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, and regularly features on BBC radio.
His latest album, ‘An Englishman in Love, in LA’ was recorded in Frank Sinatra’s studio B at Capital Studio’s in LA, using some of Sinatra’s musicians, and using Sinatra’s very own microphone. Richard even wears Sinatra’s actual tuxedo in performance – so this is no cheap imitation – Richard Shelton is Sinatra!
The Denmark Street Big Band present their new show 'The Gene Krupa Story', featuring Jo Harrop with the Anita O'day Vocals. Be sure to hear the glorious energy and showmanship of the American Jazz Drumming and bandleader legend favourites such as 'Leave Us Leap', 'Drum Boogie', 'Starburst' and 'Drummin’ Man'. The band are delighted to have Jo Harrop singing the Anita O'Day/Krupa band faves such as 'Massachussetts', 'Bolero At The Savoy', 'Boogie Blues' and 'Let me Off Uptown'. There may be some Goodman/Krupa surprises too!

She will be bringing her love of jazz and swing from the Golden Era to a show that will take you back to the 1940s-1950s; from the streets of Harlem and straight to L.A, with a repertoire inspired by the great jazz divas of the time like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee, Billy Holiday and Hollywood actresses like Julie London, Judie Garland, Marilyn Monroe, backed by the mighty Denmark Street Big Band.

London based singer Paul Wood brings his unique blend of jazz vocals to this unique homage to Tony Bennett, now in his 92nd year. Be sure to hear the greats, such as 'Rags To Riches', 'The Good Life' and 'I Left My heart In San Francisco'. Special arrangements are being made for this show from his albums with The Count Basie Orchestra, 'Strike Up The Band' and 'Life Is A Song'.

The ‘Massive Jazz Orchestra’ presents a Christmas spectacular featuring a huge ensemble of jazz and classical musicians, and gorgeous vocals from a host of celebrated singers.
This big-swinging party will mash together a 20-piece big band and classical musicians to create a sublime and raucous Christmas show that will make you laugh, happy-cry and dance your bits off.
Playing massive, jazzy, orchestral arrangements of Christmas favourites into the night, this orgy of brass and strings will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy, inside and out.
For this special evening, we present the fantastic Viviana Zarbo, as we bring together a selection of tunes from some much loved and timeless classic Holywood films, backed by the mighty Denmark Street Big band.
