‘Brother Ray’ is the new show by The Denmark Street Big Band dedicated to the Songs and music of Ray Charles. The American singer, song writer and blind pianist highly regarded as ‘The Genius’ by his contemporaries who incorporated blues, Jazz, R & B and gospel with his song writing talents. The band will play the original arrangements of ‘Charles’ classic 1959 recording.
